I use it to eliminate sand fleas that are tracked into the house by both people and pets, because Florida is notorious for them. My grandmother taught me about boric acid long ago. When doing research, I learned that Boric acid was invented way back in the 17th century to kill plague fleas. It wasn't until the 1940's that somebody got the idea of marketing it as roach killer.
