I was concerned that one of the reviews mentioned that the capsule does not fit a 90mm (9cm) 10 oz silver bar. Costco (some locations) sells 10 Oz Silver bars that are 90mm X 52mm in dimensions. Specifically Costco has the Lady of Liberty and Royal Canadian Mint versions of the 10 Oz Silver Bars. I took a chance on this product as there weren't too many other viable products at competitive costs. I am glad to report that the both bars fit perfectly into these capsules.The product arrived well packed and without any visible damages. Since I've only had it for a few days, I can't attest to its ability to keep the silver bars from tarnishing. The capsule is not air-tight by any means, just two halves clasped together. However, the fit is tight and I am hoping it won't allow too much air to move inside the capsule and therefore tarnish the silver. Hope this review is of some help to you and perhaps I can do a follow up edit some time later about its ability (or lack thereof) to keep silver bars from tarnishing.

Can be a bit of a challenge to open because the two pieces have a tight fit. In the long run, however, that is probably a good thing because they are very unlikely to accidently come apart. I suggest you wash your hands with soap and dry thoroughly before handling. If you want to keep your silver bars pristine, consider using gloves when handling them. I transferred my RCM bars from their soft sealed plastic envelope to these hard cases. Cleanliness is key. You don't want fingerprints or dust to get in or on these cases.

Bought these and didn't know how good they would be. These are fantastic. Highly recommended.

These worked well with my APMEX 10 oz silver bars. Would buy again.

Great for silver bars !!

Advised that most of this type case don’t fit Engl/ Mehaffy … these do and they look nice are heavy, tightly snap closed keeping the bars air tight! Great choice for price.

I do not recommend these for 10oz bars. They are to small....broke two of the cases just trying to get the bars in.

Excellent product. I used it for Royal Mint Britannia 10 oz silver bars and it is a perfect fit.One suggestion although not a big deal - The boxes (top and bottom peice) come pre-assembled, and it takes a little time to open the box because these are tight-fits as they are supposed to be. It would have been nice, if the top and bottom pieces came already separated.
