Marvelous
Has plenty of everything, in addition to a list of all the pieces and amounts of each. It also comes with different ions of each element, allowing you to create any polyatomic ion

Colorful, multifunctional but not a standalone guide for building molecular models
I like that it has dedicated colors for H C N O F P S Cl Br and I. I also like that there are two ways to show bonds and that you can show charge clouds. Great flexibility in some of these atoms, much less in others. For example, Cl has two shapes, Br has one, and I has two.Major issue: If you are looking for a standalone kit that will guide you or your child through molecular modeling, this is not the kit for you. THE ONLY DOCUMENTATION IN THIS KIT IS LISTS OF COMPONENTS IN TWO LANGUAGES. It does not include any “getting started” activities. This kit is for someone who has worked with models before and/or has pictures/instructions provided elsewhere to follow. Also, LOTS of chocking hazards to keep track of if little hands are around.Dislikes: only one size of gray metal ion and that the metal ions can only have charges of +1 +2, or +6. No way to even roughly approximate +3, +4, +5 charges. You can use nitrogen, phosphorus, and sulfur for these, but that then reduces the flexibility of the kit with the non-metals.I also dislike single and double/triple short bonds (those used in oxygen and water and in nitrogen, hydrogen, ammonia portions of the attached image. It would be nice if they were distinct: white for single bond, light purple for double bond, and translucent for triple bond. The bonds for N2 and O2 are identical in the model but represent two different bonds in reality: nitrogen has a triple bond while oxygen has a double bond.Final complaint: sort and label the bags that hold the model components. I should not have to hunt through five separate bags to find the particular red balls that I want. Also, the single bond and double/triple bond short connectors should NOT be in the same bag.
