Clairol's Soy4 Plex is a great coloring product. It thoroughly covers white hair, giving it a deep, lustrous and healthy-looking result. I've used it since it replaced Miss Clairol. There is nothing like it in the consumer marketplace. However, unlike the original Miss Clairol that drugstores used to carry years ago, it is only available from beauty supply companies to professionals. I had my hair colored for two years 15 years ago with two separate products that the salon carried, but neither covered my white hair deeply. After my first washing a week later, 35% of the color washed out. With the Sally's Beauty Supply store outlet closed in my area and limited supplies on its website, I am thrilled to be able to buy it on AMAZON.Thank you, Amazon Prime! -- Judy D.

Great stuff, I mix the 6 & 7 and it works well. Get lots of compliments on the color and it makes my hair healthy looking.

The smell was overpowering to the point of coughing and and the color was almost clear, not red like the packaging says. Must have been sitting on the shelf too long, or it's old. I didn't use it for fear of what it would've done to my hair.
