A quality tool that works well
I used this to remove the crank on my Bosch motor equipped Trek ebike. Bike tools can be very confusing as to what fits the various brands of components. I almost ordered a different Park crank puller until I read the reviews here on Amazon. Another user had bought the wrong version and mentioned it in his review. You have to look further down in the description to see that this one is the CCP-44 model for 3 piece splined cranks. If you get the proper model, this works great and is easy to use.

Works on Peloton
My Peloton started making a clunking noise that was getting progressively worse. Peloton customer support told me the cranks needed to be aligned. However the problem was clearly the bottom bracket was coming loose. The assembly match mark was no longer aligned and the bottom bracket could be turned by hand. Using the Park Tool BBT-18 and CCP-44C I was able to reinstall the bottom bracket and eliminate the clunking. Ended up having to do it a second time using thread lock but now it is problem free.I knocked a star off because the inner "race" of the CCP-44C unexpectedly pops out. I wish it was more secure. The first time it popped out I didn't notice. I found the inner part on the floor and was confused about where it came from. With some force it pops back in and the tool continues to function. As others note an OCTOGANAL 36mm socket is needed for the BBT-18.

Better than paying for the bike shop to do it!
Striped my pedal threads with full speed pedal strike that sent me OtB. This tool worked perfectly to pull off my e*thirteen crank arm on my Orbea Wild ebike. What would have cost me 100’s for the bike shop to fix, only took 15 minutes with this tool.

Worked Perfect; no damage to bike or tool.
After the horror stories cited in the reviews of the cheaper crank puller tools, I spent the extra few buck and got the Park Tool version. It worked great to pull the crank arm off my bike so I could replace the factory chainring with an Absolute Black oval ring. I inspected the threads on the puller and the threads in my crank spindle and all look unscathed. Super easy. Though I will say that it takes some force to get these off. Not the tool’s fault; that is a sign of good fitment and precisely machined parts. Could maybe be a dollar or two cheaper, but overall a quality tool.

Does the job well
It’s a pretty simple tool and it does the job well. No give like some of the other alternatives - solid enough that I don’t think I’ll need another for quite some time.
