Q: Does the filter have a signal when it needs replacing?

No and I question it's efficacy as it doesnt filter my (hard) water. I still get heavy residues in my water when boiled from new. Very disappointed as these filters are expensive.

I used on for almost a full year. You could actually taste the difference in water wen it stop working
