Turtle Beach Recon 50X Gaming Headset for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 & PC

I managed to get these cheap on a sale and they are excellent. The sound quality is great for the price. Only issue I've had is the mic occasionally not picking up my voice, very rarely through. Good, sturdy all round headset.

This was a gift.Person using headphones, says good quality, good sound and loves the colour.

Good for the price, the sound quality is ok and mic sounds great. The build quality is good and has last me a while especially for the price. The only downside is the headphones cable length and tip/plug as it's not the strongest and can break if your not careful.

These are great however we had some issues with head set. We did resolve this issue tho. IF MIC IS NOT WORKING, MAKE SURE WHERE YOU PLUG IT IN ON THE HEADSET THAT THE NOTCHES IN THE CONNECTION ARE LINED UP.Instruction leaflet doesn’t mention this.

These worked very well for a time.They are a cheap pair of gaming headphones, suited to a casual gamer like me when playing with mates. The mic works great which was the most important thing for me and why I bought them. The speakers were good, certainly not the greatest in terms of sound but at £<25 worked well enough!I love the colours! I have a PS4 and there are console specific designs, but I thought the Switch design was the best so went for them. Great colour and otherwise good look. They are well constructed too, obviously it's all plastic but they don't feel "cheap", not do they feel flimsy, nor is there random bits of loose material or other telltale signs of cut corners that you might see on a poorly made device. These are well designed, well made headphones.I like that can remove the mic when you aren't using it.However, less than 6 months later and the left speaker has some issues. On lower volumes the left speaker suddenly drops significantly lower in volume than the right and is arely audible, only when you turn it a bit higher again does it seem to match the right speaker in terms of volume. The headphones have been very well taken care of, I don't take them out, and when not used they are carefully wrapped and put into a container below my playstation, so either this is an actual issue with the hardware or the occasional, light knock has been enough to damage them. Either way it's a bit of a disappointment they didn't last longer, particularly given I only really use them 3-4 times a month at best.So, good pair of headphones while they worked but didn't last long.

I purchased the version of these headphones designed for the Xbox One, and despite there being some doubts upon buying it because of the complaints about mostly the microphone, I haven't experienced an issue, and I bought it in March (it is now July).The audio quality is decent, you are able to hear people clearly and this ultimately means the headphones themselves are good. The jacks are durable and will not break easily, so that means if they stop working, you are more likely to have a flaw in the specific model or you've dropped it quite a lot or similar than it actually being a fault with the product as a whole. The microphone, does not have an echo, so that is fantastic for anyone who does not want one, which I would assume is most people since it is an inconvenience to everyone else you talk to.This headset includes the mute for your microphone on the headset, as most headsets do, which is a useful feature and nice to have for quickly muting your microphone, especially if there is a disturbance nearby. It also has your general volume management wheel which is on most headsets as well, although it would be nice for it to be able to get louder in some circumstances.Overall, this is a very solid headset, it is affordable, trustable, and you should not necessarily need to get a replacement quickly as it works just fine. Please ensure though that you do not drop, throw or anything of the sort to your headset, and then complain that it does not work or stopped working. The audio quality COULD be better, but it isn't bad by any means, and this is a fairly cheap headset in comparison to others. So, fairly solid headset, I do recommend this one.(FYI - I am not sure what the differences are for each headset meant for a specific console, please take this as a review for the Xbox One headset)
