Campbell's Physical Therapy for Children 6th Edition

I rented an older edition of this book while in PT school and decided to buy this one to use as a refresher now that I primarily see peds. It comes with a code so that you have access to it online and in an app so I can take it with me wherever, even if I don’t have the physical book.

I'm not sure if it was unique to mine or how it was placed in a box with zero padding but the first time I opened the book at all the cover is already pulling away form the binding. It already sounds crackly and feels flimsy like an old, roughly used school textbook and given that it's a brand new edition I was hoping it was going to last longer than this.
