Lasted Less Than 2 Years
I liked the monitor, It was a dream come true to finally be able to afford one. Sadly though samsung products do not last. I feel scammed but it was good whilst I had it. There are other brands that are better. Avoid samsung monitors.

Cutting Edge monitor with Cutting Edge flaws
I purchased the Odyssey Neo G9 as a replacement for two 27" 16:9 monitors. My first impressions were extremely positive. I was blown away by just how bright it got, and with the mini LED local dimming zones, this monitor looked absolutely incredible in games (especially with HDR enabled). It was when I switched away from gmaing to more productivity workflows where this monitor's many issues started to show themselves.I am a programmer by day, so I spend a very significant amount of time staring at code on a white/grey background. I noticed immediately that the white background of my IDE... wasn't so white anymore. My specific panel had some very noticeable hazy, yellow-y lines running across the entire screen, that were only visible on a bright, solid background such as the white background of my code editor. It was also noticeable on a darkey grey background, but to a lesser extent. The result of these lines is that the screen constantly looked dirty displaying static content. This is quite a well documented issue on online forums and has been coined "DSE", or "Dirty Screen Effect". Not every Neo G9 will have this issue, but there have been QC issues with the model and you're basically rolling a dice if you buy a Neo G9 online. At first I thought I could live with it, but considering how expensive this monitor is, I decided to return. A monitor this price should not have issues like this. Some other negatives that weren't dealbreakers for me, but might be for you:* The screen crackles and pops *a lot*. This is especially true once the monitor has been powered on or off. Sometimes the cracking sounds last for over an hour(!!) after turning the monitor off.* The 1000R curve is serious. If you were already aware of how severely curved this monitor is then you should be fine, but for those who aren't: This monitor will eat up your entire desk's depth if you aren't prepared* The viewing angles aren't great. It's a VA panel so to be expected, but just be aware if you are sitting even slightly off centre, the monitor will start to look washed out quickly. To summarize:This monitor is absolutely incredible in games. I can't stress that enough. If your primary use case for this monitor is gaming you absolutely won't be disappointed. But, if your primary use case is gaming, you may be better off getting this monitor's OLED sibling, the G9 OLED. It won't be as bright, but the HDR and colours will be just as good.If you are still sold on this monitor, I'd make sure you can either a) view it in person before buying, to decide if there are any panel issues that would cheapen the experience for you, or b) be prepared to receive and/or return a panel with DSE or other QC issues, as this panel has plenty of them.

Once set-up, it's amazing
Pro's-------* It's lovely.* Incredible for gaming.* Awesome and helps you be more productive. That's not a throw away comment. I provide network / server / infrastructure support and it's an amazing screen to use to manage my customers networks and systems. The ease at which I can move my open applications around, and have the main app in the middle and the supporting apps each side, makes this screen a real benefit .Con's--------* It's so expensive! It took an age to build up the courage to buy it.* Make sure your equipment is compatible.* It was a pain to set-up.* Windows 11 is a must to get the best from the HDR.* My other two screens are suffering from contrast / brightness issues since I added this. Tweaking their OSD has made no difference, although I have not had time to have a more in-depth look. I had no problems when I had four separate screens (but I still would not change the current set-up with the Neo).* I thought the screen was broken as I couldn't get it to work, until I found my graphics card has a Primary DP socket I needed to plug this into. I also have a primary HDMI - who knew!Summary========Overall, and despite the expense, I think this was a great buy. I'm not a massive gamer any more, but I still dabble and love playing on it. However, the improvement in productivity and sheer pleasure I get from using it, is more than I expected. I assumed it would be good, but it's actually great! I would love a second to go above it, but I think that would probably be excessive, and I don't think I could find an arm to hold it up that high. With that in mind, I got the Ergotron HX for screen size up to 49", and it is worth the extra money.

Amazing experience
Incredible product. The screen is very easy to set up, but also has a lot of settings to get into to allow for customisation. You can connect multiple devices at once, I personally use my computer and Samsung Dex at the same time in the split screen view. It's fantastic for both games and work as you've got plenty of screen real estate to work with. The picture quality is brilliant and colour accuracy is more than enough for what I do.

Great piece of kit - slight issue on mine
Fantastic piece of kit, but comes with a huge price tag.My monitor in particular has a slight popping sound which reading about the monitor some do have, hoping this will vanish in time like some have reported and only really noticeable when no other sounds are playing. For gaming, it is amazing as the screenshots i have attached of F1 show.Takes a lot of space on the desk, but as i was replacing a multi monitor setup it has not made that much difference.VFM? - well thats all depends on the individual perspective. For me, i think its slightly overpriced, but at the same time i dont regret buying it at all.
