Part of the Sepp Gilding Workshop line of products, this Gilding Primer in Yellow prepares surfaces for gilding. An oil-based primer that also provides a base color to hide any flaws on the bare surface. It also seals and creates an excellent base for leaf adhesives, gilding size, or under mica powders. Use on wood, plaster, metal, and composition surfaces to be gilded with any kind of leaf. This is a 4oz container of Yellow Primer.
