probably a very good saw
Mine arrived and I couldn't understand why the fence wasn't in line, after much measuring I discovered the blade was out of line by 3mm but when cutting a length of wood this obviously increases, not accurate at all. I sent it back and the replacement was exactly the same so I sent that back to Makita.... It's still there.

Poor accuracy, flexible fence.
I've used this saw a lot, as a workmate has one. It's handy and fits on It's own Makita wheeled stand. Plenty of power. The sliding carriage runs nice and smoothly, although light weight. And that's all I can say that's positive. The fence is very flexible, the mitre fence is non standard size, and plastic based. It's an okay saw if you're doing basic site jobs; ripping carcassing, or if you have an odd facing to rip etc. Don't bother if you want a saw for more detailed work. Not to say that it will not do it, but the flaws are agrovating, and you can get a better saw for less money. My mate paid under £300 for it with a stand from a local Makita dealer, which I would say is fair price for it's capability.

Could be more Accurate
Ok so it’s not a bad table saw but it’s also not a good table saw. I purchased this product because I’m a Makita fan my company have made it our standard. But this product has a couple of major problems one the fence is wobbly and two the mitre attachment doesn’t fit into the slide. I’m going to enhance the fence and re-set the mitre but I’m not happy that I have to.Don’t buy this product it doesn’t use a standard T slot which is 19 mm, it uses the non-standard 15 mm hence my plans to hence it have become more complicated. It’s a tool that makes cutting wood accurately very difficult not happy.
