Love these knock offs for the hue bulbs. Easy to set up. Not a lot of color options like the hue bulbs but does what it’s supposed to do. Totally works with Alexa.

I have had one that works about 50% of the time, the rest maybe 10%. Although right now none of them will respond. For weeks it they will connect without issue and then not. In the past, rebooting, rebooting router, wifi access points, and logging in and out of the app would work, now nothing seems too. I can see the devices on the network, they have an IP address. Just garbage. I bought into the Meross eco system because of an outdoor plug that has worked flawlessly for 2+ years, but the lights and indoor plugs are junk. Just avoid them, I should have jumped the Meross ship after having the first indoor plugs were DOA. So, in the pictures I'm testing some devices are powered off, and many have been deleted from the app while I try and reset them. The generic light, just showed up after trying to reset on that has refused to connect for weeks and now won't connect to wifi. 2 of the plugs are not plugged in, they tend to work just fine after initial replacement. It really is the light bulbs that are the problem.

So far, so good with these. I've had some bad luck with other brands, especially Feit Electric (those cheapies you can get at Costco) flickering or just not lasting. Time will tell if these last, but at the price, I'll be happy to get a year or two out of them.Have to say, these bulbs have turned out to be even brighter than expected -- especially in color. I have them installed in 4 can lights in my entryway, and they work perfectly. You first have to add them via the app, which isn't too difficult. From there, you can control each bulb independently using the Meross app (or Smart Life), and then group them into "scenes." I've so far set up a few scenes for these bulbs so far. During normal use, I've set them all to 100% with a warm tone, and at 9pm, they automatically dim by 50%, shutting off completely at 10pm -- all via simple actions easily scheduled in the app. I've also set up several color schemes that are now available at the press of a button -- like all purple for halloween, alternating red/green for xmas, etc. To my surprise, the purple color these bulbs throw out actually passes for black lights and have a similar fluorescent effect - very cool.Two Meross purchases (the other one being a wifi garage door opener), and two wins so far! Really can't complain.

This is my fourth IoT product from Meross. As with the other items, this one works well. I have these bulbs shining a blue light onto my front porch. I use the timer function to start/stop according to sunrise/sunset. It works well.My only negative would be the inability to group the bulbs as a group, as I do with my Wyze software. As a workaround, Meross does allow you to make "Scenes" for one-button on/off or other instruction.

So far, these make a great replacement for a "60 W equivalent" fluorescent bulb. They throw about the same amount of light, and you get all the bells and whistles that come with a Meross device. Operating their app for these bulbs is pretty easy, too.I purchased these to install in areas where my employees keep leaving the lights on. Then I set a routine that turns them off automatically after 15 minutes. I also put them in my home porch lighting, so as to eliminate the house with fully functioning timers. When I expect guests that do not know where they are going, I can set the lightbulb to green or purple or whatever color, and then they spot my driveway at a great distance.The adjustable color temperature for "white light" is fantastic! If you like a warmer color, it does it nicely. I prefer a higher color temperature that is less yellow, and they deliver. For regular illumination, however,I think the diverse colors available are rather impractical, albeit pretty to look at. Red, green, blue are all available in a sliding scale that pretty much spans the visible color range. I don't really use that feature much.

Works well with Alexa. I like that the app shows you how well each bulb is connected to wifi. I don't like that the color and tone picker is a wheel? That's really weird and not nearly as responsive as I'd like it to be. You can't customize the tone on a scale, it has steps you just have to go with for the white tones. But only when you change then individually - if you set up a scene it gives you a gradient and I don't understand why that's like that at all. The colors also show up funny - though maybe that's Alexa's settings for the default colors rather than the default colors themselves? If you're picking a color just do it manually. The bulbs also don't remember their last status - if I have one off and the other 3 on, and I turn off the switch, all of them will turn on when I turn the switch back on. It's very annoying. So these are ok, after about a week of use. Not sure if I'll keep them.Edited 06/07/2021: returned these today. They decided to disconnect and refused to reconnect after literally hours of trying to get them to work. I wasn't in love with them before, so away they go.

Disclaimer: I was sent these lights for free, to review as a product tester.That said, I have many smart bubs from various manufacturers.These require no hub, are fully color customizable, have a fantastic app, work great with Alexa and Google Home, and were far easier to set up than other bulbs.The max brightness is fine, but nothing to write home about on cold, dark, Northern evenings.The price on these things is a bargain compared to other brands.I'm definitely buying more of these.Update after several months:I'm still really loving these; they are great.They are plenty bright enough, and still going strong.The color change feature is really handy for all the video calls going on these days.
