I love this vest. it's just about perfect. Helps increase walk intensity / cardio output during walks, is a muchh nicer/more convenient way to train for hiking, slows me down naturally on walks so easier to match my partner's pace, provides a much more convienient / comfortable way to weight bodyweight exercises like pull-ups/dips/push-ups/sit-ups, washable vest material is a plus, ability to load the vest to the weight I want it is convenient .. all great. Many vests are non-adjustable in weight, and many fancier vests have a single large weight plate with only one weight option unless you buy additional plates to swap with - this vest allows you to have whatever weight increment you want as you add/remove little bars. It does require a moderate amount of strength to get the vest over your head comfortably at 60lbs, but is quite comfortable for me - basically I hook my hands under the shoulder straps and just clean it vertically up and past my head, then let it down over my head. Only downside is the velcro straps that help bind it around the body - pulling and adjusting one of them at a slightly askew angle, I tore out a fair amount of stitching on it. This shouldn't have happened, and I wish they'd reinforced the stitching better. But it still works fine and is otherwise very well made. The little iron weights are also so much better than sand. Also, I love that it doesn't interfere with my abdominal/lower-back/core area the way almost all other vests do, I can very easily do all of my exercises, and my walking/hiking technique is much more natural this way.

I love this weighted vest. I bought it with 40lbs of weights which is really like 37ish lbs because they count the actual vest as the remaining 2-3lbs. I filled it all the way up on day one since you have the option to add as much/little weight as you’d like in the 2.5lbs increments. I first wore the vest for 1 hr around the house and felt a slight pain when I took it off, even the second time. It is a very minor annoyance to put the vest on at 40lbs and would likely be less of a headache doing so with at least some of the weights out of the vest while putting on FYI, but I’m too lazy to load it up and unload it after every use. It does have outer handles on the shoulder area to carry the vest by and pull it up closer to your head when you want to wear it, nice touch! It is overall padded well, even on the shoulders. I only felt pain at first because it’s an additional 40 lbs that wasn’t weighing me down before. I have only used the vest like 6 times and can wear it down the trail for a couple hrs at a time now. I tried to run in it before but even when I had it wrapped around me relatively tight, it still moved around a little. Don’t know about running in it so much, good for hikes though. The weights can be expensive when not buying them with the vest, I now want to add the remaining 20lbs to max it out. This was well worth the price in my honest opinion. I’ll include photos with the color detail too, it’s like a black denim material.. very high quality! 9 weight slots on the front and 10 slots on the back, plus a rear reflective strip on the back. Hold 57 lbs of added weight and the vest weighs approximately 3lbs itself... supposedly. Hope this answers all your questions

I'm 43 years old, 5'10", and 160 lbs. I am deeply involved in calesthenics and have been for years. I researched several vests and decided on this one. After having used the miR vest a few times now, I can tell you IT WAS MONEY WELL SPENT! The vest can be adjusted to fit a smaller person than I or a much larger one. It is very well built and looks like it will endure for years. The vest is well padded and comfortable to wear but still fits snuggly with little movement during explosive movements. I got the one that is adjustable up to 60 lbs which is a lot of weight. I started my workouts with 20 lbs and quickly found that was way too much (think about how you add weight to a barbell-5 lbs at a time, not 20), so 60 lbs will get me years of relevant use. I wore it without a shirt, wear points were not a problem and this model appeared to have the strap issue solved that was mentioned in some review videos. This vest is quality made to last and wear comfortably and must have had a lot of R and D because it is extremely ergonomic. It did not interfere with my movements in snyway as it is very compact. The weghts are secure and easy to add or remove. Buy this vest if you are looking for progressive overload in your workouts; if you are looking for a well-built, durable, and comfortable vest; if you want a vest that will stay in place with extreme movements, and basically get the most out of your workouts with its adjustability.

I always wanted a weight vest for my home gym. But never really knew what type to buy, how heavy it should be, and many other questions. I saw someone that I know and respect recommend this MiR weight vest, and within a few hours I had pulled the trigger and ordered one. My only regret is that I didn't order one SOONER.IT IS AWESOME!It is so easy to adjust the size. The add/remove weight. It's comfortable. I've worn it for crossfit workouts, while running/hiking, and just regular bodyweight workouts. It's absolutely perfect. A fantastic purchase that has been with me for a while now. And is a staple in my home workouts.I would much rather put this on, do a ton of squats, burpees, lunges, pushups, and pulls ups than do a bunch of dumbbells exercises. It's awesome, and really kicks your butt!!

Bastante bueno el chaleco. Buen diseño y muy cómodo. Cumple con lo prometido. Sin embargo, el precio del set completo de peso es elevado. Pero, hasta el momento no hay a la venta barras para el chaleco. Si vas hacer el gasto, recomiendo comprar el set completo

Ich habe nach langem Suchen für Body-Weigth/Cross-Fit Training, diese Weste gekauft und bin auf Anhieb glücklich. Die Weste sitzt sehr gut, gerade auch für Pullups, oder Pikes, etc.Zudem lässt sie sich gut anziehen. Entgegen anderer Meinungen, kann man sie sehr wohl alleine anziehen, auch ohne sehr gelenkig seien zu müssen. Einfach die langen Klett-Bänder nach vorne hängen lassen (nach vorn beugen) und durch die Schlaufen ziehen und seitlich ankletten.Dieses Produkt verdient die 5 Sterne!Sehr gut verarbeitet und hervorragendes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.Geliefert wird leider nur die 20lbs (9kg) Variante. Das reicht bestimmt, selbst wenn man gut mit Bodyweight Training gearbeitet hat. Nach einer Zeit, wird man aber wohl mehr Gewicht einstecken wollen. Fächer hat es dafür noch genug.Einfach Genial. Ersetzt mit den richtigen Übungen ein halbes Gym.

Item arrived with a tear on the rear of the vest. Disappointing given the price. Poor quality. Pain in the ass and expensive to return to the USA.
