I appreciated the way the numerous authors presented their defense of the gospel in a concise yet convincing way. The various chapters covered the most common areas where the gospel is frequently attacked. The overall premise was to show people the truth and let the Holy Spirit do the rest of the work, knowing that on our own we will never convince anyone.

Much of this book is far beyond my educational and philosophical background. However, I found it very confirming of my decision to be a follower of Jesus Christ.

This book is an intellectual treasure delivered by some of the brightest scholars in the world. Ravi has been my favorite apologist & this book didn't let me down.

I really liked this book because it brought in specialist from their respective fields to write. Each chapter dealt with different issues facing Christianity today. Thought the book is not exhaustive, it skims the surface of the issues and since each subject is written by particular people with experience pertaining to the subject, you get first hand information. It is noted that while a skeptic can pick this up and read, it is mainly intended for the Christian in their encouragement to get equipped to share and defend their faith. I especially loved the chapters where apologetics becomes personal; how we internalize the issues in our own lives, instead of just having intellectual arguments. I think the book makes the point very well that apologists are not to be argumentative or adversarial. We are to be humble, meek, and loving when conversing with people. Sure having answers is a great thing, but truly it is the love of Christ that changes people.

Although I'm still reading, this book measures up to the quality of his other books. Various chapters appear to be written by different authors,members of the team. (Since I have the ebook, it's kind of hard to tell for sure. But different names start each chapter.) I recommend the book to help readers learn what the "arguments" (philosophies) are and some possible responses to them.

Ravi Zacharias has a way of putting complex ideas in clear understandable writing. He is a great thinker, challenging his readers to think through difficult matters that may seem beyond our grasp. This book is definately a must read.

I found some things useful from this book. However, I found it hard to follow so many different writer's with their different styles. Felt like a hodge podge of ideas forced together.

A great read not just apologetics for the Christian but devotional so much to feed on and affirm scripture truth. The chapter on the Trinity splendid. May God continue to bless the work of RZIM

Excellent book, with very clear and thought out arguments whilst remaining faithful to the Chritian beliefs. A must for those interested in Christian apologetic and want a concise guide. Recommend it highly.
