This book is quite serious in terms of learning set phrases, but its great to know what verbs to use with what action, as they can vary with culture and context. It;s organised into subject themes such as school, work, shopping etc. But most are quite descriptive as opposed to colloquial. The book will have the same thing said in a few different ways, but fails to indicate the phrase that is most frequently used. But the book is organised quite well, has furigana for those who cannot read kanji as well as romaji. It's like a super serious upscale of a Japanese phrase book!
