Easy to install
So far so good. Easy to install. We will see in the summer when we get back into the water.

Not very durable
It seemed like a well built ladder until we tried to use it. It bent under the boat with weight put on it. I had to brace it with angle iron. I think the weight rating needs to be lowered because a 200 pound man bends it over and they rated it at 250.

Poor Design
The provided screws will probably not hold for any duration. Using bolts will keep the ladder from closing into itself properly causing the ladder to hang. I weigh 150lbs and do not feel secure with the ladder holding even bolted into 2x4's.

Not durable, hard to install
Starting to rust after one season. difficult to install because it really requires through-bolting to swim platform, but the ends of the bolts interfere with the ladder. Need to use a dremel to cut the bolts off flush to the nuts, and even then it barely fits. If you trust screwing it from underneath instead of through-bolting it, that might not be a problem. But there's no way I would trust that.

Good for the money, we will see how long it lasts.
This is my first extendable ladder. Came with screws, I decided to use bolts. It seems a little weak but the rear of my boat is angled where I mounted it so the ladder is angled away from the boat more than I would like.

Easy to mount, good quality. The retaining strap is nice. Steps are longer then I expected.
