Vermil Thumb Ring - Classic Silver Plus - Premium Traditional Archery Equipment

I ordered this after purchasing two of the plastic rings. The plastic ones were nice and fit well but were much more fragile than I expected and both broke rather quickly. I ordered the silver ring a little reluctantly as the sizes offered were a little bigger than the size I had ordered before. I ordered the closest size to what I was ordering in the plastic rings. Long story short, the ring came earlier than expected and fit perfectly. This is a really nice thumb ring and I expect it to last a long time. I am in the process of braiding a leather thong to it that will fit my wrist so when I am out hunting it won't slip off. If you are serious about a thumb ring, while a bit more pricey, the metal ones are the way to go.

Very good quality.I am a beginner in thumb release so don't know much but the area that contacts the bow stringseems a bit too rounded and tends to slip. But that could be my lack of experience.I do see some other ones on youtube (by DIYers) have that area more flat-ish.It seems to hurt a bit when drawing 55lb bow (need more thumb strength training?).(A lighter bow may be better.)

I ordered mine maybe 1 or 2 sizes to big, which caused it to fling off, but it was awesome, I think they make each one new as well.
