Its a good product but be careful not to bring any metal surfaces like tap or metal hose in contact with it.else they may get a stain

This product is totally ineffective. It didn't remove any limescale despite applying it several times. It's an useless product and waste of money.

This product is good for cleaning of sanitary ware. However, this is not for removing scales. This is not at all removing scales. The consistency is lesser compared to usual Harpic cleaner. The consistency could be increased so that better results could be achieved. The price is also on higher side.

Product is good and nice packing… product works fine… worth for money…

This harpic works really very well on limescale The product quantity required in a single is more, but is very effective even on tough limescale.

Not stain removing

Yes it works, though not in a single use. You have to put on gloves and use a scrubber to get complete results.

For best results, squirt up all around the toilet rim in the morning, squeezing the bottle hard and using most of it, to fully curtain coat the bowl and allow to run down into the bottom/U bend and leave until you return from work in the afternoon/evening then scrub the bowl with your brush before flushing clean. No need to drain the bowl before application as this amazing gel even works under water. Can be spread around sinks and shower trays and poured over chromed taps and overflow caps to dissolve years of accumulated limescale that Viakal requires multiple applications to remove. Unless you bought your toilet from brand spanking new, you've probably never seen it this clean!

An excellent product - but -- the packaging was awful. No protection for the bottle,they were only in a polythene bag. More than one botttle had leaked because they had become upside down during transit. All internal packaging was soaked as was the outer box itself. No way of telling how many bottles were affected but all had to be washed clean before putting in store. Would guess about half a bottle in total had leaked out from the screw tops.

Only more powerful products designed for industrial use get limescale off better, they aren't something I would want around the house. Use generously, leave it at least overnight, repeat as necessary and it will remove even the oldest limescale eventually, and give a properly clean toilet instead of just bleaching the scale to a lighter shade that bleach does. Can sometimes be bought at this price in some not all supermarkets, but I find it convenient to get delivered this way when I buy other products.

Our toilet was completely yellow from limescale as we live in Brighton. We left it overnight and it just peeled off (we needed 2.5 bottles per loo so the 6 pack was useful). We followed advice and drained the toilets of any water first. Brilliant product!!! (However, don't be stupid like me and try it on taps too - totally stripped the coating and now we have to replace the taps, stupid mistake by me!)

Has a lovely smell which lingers for a while after cleaning, and seems to work well cleaning limescale in the loo. I take their word for it that it kills the bugs too. I took advantage of this deal because I like stocking up and not having to lug heavy items back from the supermarket. It arrived in good condition and I'm now set up for the invasion of the dirty toilets!
