Usually I never post negative reviews, but this situation demands it to hopefully protect other consumers for inaccurate product description. Like the other reviews I was getting tired of removing my Ring doorbells to charge them every few week. After looking at several transformers, this Aerb transformer said it would work and I especially liked the long cord. However once I installed it exactly per their directions, my Ring doorbell would not turn on or connect to the Ring wi-fi during set up. It won't ring, the video camera doesn't turn on, it is totally dead, burnt out by this transformer. In addition to my refund, I hope they replace my Ring doorbell that their product is responsibly for damaging, or provide an equal Amazon credit so I can buy another Ring doorbell.

I purchased this for use with my video doorbell. After reading some other reviews, I decided to check it with my multimeter first. As you can see, the output is over 30V, not the 24V advertised. This could easily damage delicate electronics and I have returned the product for a refund. Maybe not all of them are defective but do yourself a favor and test yours before using.

Even though this power supply transformer says that it is compatible with the Ring 1 doorbell, it completely fried mine after two minutes of being plugged in. The doorbell got almost untouchable hot. My Ring 1 doorbell no longer works.

I got this to connect to my ring doorbell 2. It currently uses a battery only and I find myself having to charge it more often. So when I saw this I had to try this option. The transformer power supply was very easy to connect and once plugged in I didn’t have to worry about how long or how often I check the live view because it was always full power. It seems like a sturdy well-made transformer. It came with the plug-in end and the other and already expose right wires ready to hook up to the doorbell. It was very easy to connect.It has a 26 foot cable so plenty of wire to run to your permanent power supply.

I use this with my ring pro, so far work great. The wire is long enough , easily cut to shorten up if the extra wire is not needed. The adapter power the ring pro so far very good.

I purchased this product for use of a Ring Video doorbell. Upon opening this product I noticed that there were no instructions for installation. I’ve included a picture of exactly what I received. Luckily my husband is a handyman and could easily figure out how to set it up. The wire was extremely long and accommodating so that we were able to set the adapter up exactly where we wanted it. The wire can be shortened if needed. And as far as how the product works, I’ve had it set up for over a week now and I have zero complaints. It does exactly what it’s meant to do.
