Relatively Sturdy Easel when its done up tight enough. Easy to store and not complicated to assemble. Fairly easy to clean aswell. My only gripe is that the bottom and top of the vice sticks out a bit too much. It can be a bit of a pain when detailing they can be obstructive but nothing you cant work around.

I read lots of reviews of artists easels, I thought the Mont Marte easel offered light weight, good stability and seems well made. Assembly was easy and the tray for pencils etc really useful. One tip I picked up tightening the main clamp to set the tripod and easel angle still allowed to parts to move, however purchasing 4 rubber washers 20mm diameter to fit between the wooden legs and easel support at the point of the main clamp totally stopped the unwanted movement. I have yet to use the easel outside on uneven ground. As has been said in other reviews a suitable carrying case would have been worth paying a little extra.

I bought this easel for my artistic grandson. At the moment, he has set it up in the garden and is painting away! As a 13 year old,he is capable of setting it up and it is sturdy enough to last for a long time. A good purchase and value for money.

Well made, ideal for budding artist, may seem expensive but should last for years . Good value item.

This item was initially great, but after very little use, the nuts securing the whole easel have stopped screwing tight enough as needed, so the easel is no longer usable. I would like to pursue a refund or replacement.

Please, change product images. You mislead customers into thinking that this easel hold canvas up to 112cm, therefore low overall rating.(28.11.2019) Product is generally good quality. It may be a little bit hard to assemble, especially the shelf.

This is a great easel. This is the ONLY wooden easel I could find that didn't have a lip on the top clamp that hangs slightly over the top of the canvas. That kind of overhang is annoying. I want easy access to every part of my canvas when I'm oil painting. The clamps on this easel hold my canvas tightly in place. Set up was super easy as there is minimal assembly. It took me 5 minutes. There were no instructions but I didn't need them. I just looked at the picture. It's that simple. The easel is sturdy. The tray is a good size. The price is great.

I love this easel! I use it constantly. I've had many easels and this one is the best by far. It is sturdy and very adjustable whether you are at home, studio or outdoor. It is easy to use, portable and it looks really nice. It can take various size canvas. The shelf is very handy for my brushes and other loose things. I believe I'll be using this for years!
