Lightspeed Outdoors Laguna UPF 50+ Easy Up Canopy Sun Shelter

Let me start by saying that my hubby purchased this cabana so I would go to the beach. I am from the South but am as almost as fair as they come. I can tan and slightly redden through 50+ sunscreen. I have burned with as little as 20 minutes exposure in an convertible and reddened with a brief walk on the beach. I have burned at 6:30 PM! I have tanned through the side window of my van! Needless to say, I am a little sunphobic. Therefore, even though we live less than 4 miles from the beach, I don't go often because I burn. It doesn't help that I hate the texture of lotion; however, I've burned even when I've used it!Given this information, I have to say that I absolutely LOVE our new cabana. My in-laws recently dragged me to the beach for a 3-hour stint. As you can imagine, I spent most of it in the cabana. First of all, this cabana is easy to set up and take down. Of course, the set up took longer -- some of it was us figuring out what to do and some of it was us digging into the sand to actually anchor the cabana. Breakdown was a breeze, and it isn't one of those "tents" that you can't get back in the bag. I'm telling you, it's fantastic!And it's extremely roomy! It can easily fit two beach chairs, three if done right! It provides a great amount of shade, even for my sand-digging daughter. There's nothing I could find wrong with this cabana. I might actually be able to enjoy the beach, again -- and I did burn when the in-laws were here ... on the less than 30 minute walk my hubby and I took :/

This shelter worked great the first day on the beach with very little wind and I would have given it five stars and a high-five at that time. But the second day, again with very little wind, when I set it up one of the poles broke and rendered the whole shelter useless. Now I'm returning it.

It is really easy to set this up and fold it back up. We are mainly using it when going to the beach.Be aware that there is no mesh/ screen when you open up the "window." It kind of make sense though, as it would be pointless to have it on this tent, since it's an open design. Fits 3 adults comfortably.Fit and finish is not what I would call "high quality."We had to cut number of hanging threads. Fabrics are thin.Not a deal killer since overall product works as described.We prefer this to the beach umbrella, since we don't have to worry about wind.

Love this tent worth every penny! This is my second one but first one I purchased from Dicks had it for 2 years and held up well. One arm broke I'm guessing from the wind. However this is the easiest NO hassle put up take down tent ever! Even though the first one broke I brought a 2nd the exact same one from Amazon. I feel like I got my money worth since I frequent the beach in Tampa, FL every weekend! If my new one breaks again I would probably buy it again! Its just so EASY to use! 1 min up 2 mins down. its super light weight and it protects you from the sun. I've had a few friends buy ones like mine but not the same brand and it broke or wasn't as easy to use. I think this tent is a great buy!

Nice tent. Easy to set up and fairly easy to take down. However, after about 10 uses, one of the poles snapped while the tent was up even though winds were not particularly strong. Called Lightspeed to see about repair or replacement and was told it cannot be repaired and they would not replace. I love my Lightspeed air matresses but will never buy another pop up shelter from them.

I really love this sun shelter. We go to the beach every year for family vacation, and my husband always gets burnt at some point, no matter how much sunscreen we put on. This tent was the perfect size for the both of us, and he survived without a single burn. This was easy enough for me to set up on my own in 2 minutes, and break down in similar speed. I wish the windows had screens, but am so happy I bought this. Stood up to some very windy days at the Jersey Shore.

Easy up and easy down. Blocks the sun and wind. Easy to pick up and move. Fits right back in bag. Zipper windows but no screens, not a big deal because the front is totally open anyhow.Good beach shade. I also set it up against my regular shade tent and use it as a side wall.

Super easy to put up and take down. Used it at the beach and it was life saver. I tried out in my yard a few times but it was so simple. It does take a good tug so a child or elderly person might have a little trouble. I'll be using this for fishing now!
