Wisenet SDR-853072T 16 Channel Super HD Video Security DVR with 2TB Hard Drive (SDR-853052T)

This is a major upgrade from the original 16 Chanel from Samsung. The instructions are in English, simple to understand and as long as you use the MOUSE easy to operate. Picture quality has been greatly improved, and is truly easy to record for a 24 Hr. period. It has fast scan to reduce time to have to search. The zoom feature is simple and stays in focus.Over all its a joy to observe and use.Highly recommend to any one that has an older version of the 16 Chanel Samsung security recorder.

This is a good DVR that I use for my business and one for home. The price is good as well.

Works well out of the box, the password is too long/complicated, otherwise the setup was easy.

UPDATE: after buying the appropriate power supply, I am having an issue with it not connecting to my phone to be able to remote view my cameras, which is the whole reason I got this. Wisenet tech service is an absolute JOKE. I have called over a donzen times, sent several emails, even live chat. Not a single person has answered me. I will be returning this and absolutely switching brands. Complete garbage of a service team.Not a 16ch power supply. In the packaging I have a power supply that says “for 6 cameras” and a second one that says “for 4 cameras.” I also have (2) power splitters. One splitter has 4 and the other has 8. Two problems obviously.. first, that’s not 16 cameras as described. Second, I don’t have a power supply for 8 cameras. I need 2 power supply’s for 8 cameras and 2 splitters for 8 cameras. I tried to talk myself out of buying this brand but since I already have a 8ch I stuck with it. I wish I would have listened to my gut about going a different route. Guess it’s time to call customer support and hopefully get the correct items.

Great product and the tech support was wonderful at answering our questions.

The cameras are clear but the remote monitoring application is very limited. Plus you have to buy a subscription to get enhanced features. Returned the unit and bought a Q-See DVR.

I bought SDR in February 2019 also I paid for extra warranty when ordered with Amazon and day before yesterday it stop working, This was my second SDR since last 5 years. I contacted Wisenet and they don’t want to entertain my problem and asking for original invoice, it’s more than two months regarding one year warranty and contact your warranty company that’s not us etc. I am really disappointed with Wisenet product and after sale service, and also the power cables I bought it for two times.
