Done the Job
Fast delivery. Brought these to replace the items in my door handle. One had broken and was making the handle operation stiff. Installed new items and handle was operating smoothly again. GREAT BUY!

Good Product
A good product, been in for about 4 months now. One thing I would recommend is that you grease the springs / unit before fitting

Does what it's supposed to
Fast delivery, easy to fit. Don't think it's as sturdy as original, but if it lasts 5years I'll be happy.

You don't get what's shown in the advert
Advert shows 4 cassettes, 2 of each type, which is exactly what I needed. However, you only get two with the hole at the top. Why show something that you don't actually get when there is a seperate advert for the ones with the hole in the middle?

Worked a treat after shapping to fit handle
Works well. I had to cure the top of the spring cassette to fit my door handles taking off about 4mm of material but all that takes is sandpaper, a little elbow grease and about 5 mins per spring - no particular skill required. Had to do the same to another manufacturers springs last time so this is normal.Once shaped and fitting in the handle do a trial assembly on the door and then grease the spring (while it sits in the handle, less messy that way) using whatever grease you have (I used grease bought for my VW Golf rear wheel bearing in 1984).It will be stiff at first but this eases off over a couple of weeks (assuming it goes the same way as the last springs I bought) so don't worry. After a few week you won't notice a difference between your repaired doors and any door other door in the house.
