This book is a really nice starter book for working on leather purses and accessories. The projects are simple and the instructions are super easy to work with. I loved Laura Bennett on Project Runway - and this book perfectly represents her style (and humor). She's great at explaining how to work with difficult materials, and really knows how to help you find your own stylish flair.

In love with this book! I had never heard of Laura Bennett before reading through the book and how could I not?! She's amazing! There are so many awesome projects that are chic and modern (def my style), plus she teaches you amazing extras for working with leather. The project photos are amazing and one day I will be able to sew with extrodinary detail as Laura. Through the photos & projects you can tell she has a true love and passion for what she does. This will be a book that I work through and swoon over for years to come!

I'm glad I got the ebook version because most of it was how to sew with leather. Since I don't use leather it wasn't as helpful as I hoped. It was still a good book with good tips.

Really pleased with this book. There are so many samples that everyone could use in one way or another, beginners or long time sewers. This gives me lots of ideas and am trying them out on the quilt I am working on now. So far so good!!

If you plan to sew a bag or accessory with leather, you will be very happy to have this book as a guide and resource. The pictures are amazing, very close-up and detailed. From simple projects, i.e. key rings and ID covers, to sophisticated bags, this book has step by step, easy to follow instructions. I especially liked the way she gives her sources for buying the glues, tape, and purse hardware used in the projects. I've already purchased and received some and can't wait to get started on my first project.

One saves a bundle and feels accomplished just in time for spreading luxury gifts for Christmas cheer in a shoe string budget!

With the availability of fabulous leathers and snake skins on ebay, I was looking for a reference on how to sew leather. This book is everything I was looking for. I had ideas in my head of what I wanted to make, but this book includes patterns and directions for making things I didn't even think of. I love all things Laura Bennett, and this book does not disappoint.

Not much that I will be making out of this book. As far as informative it is pretty simple.

The projects are exactly as promised: fashionable and looking high-end and not homespun. I am very happy with this book
