Best you can do to mitigate turbulent air
Here’s the thing, you’re not gonna beat physics. Wind is loud, you can’t get around that. The issue that drove me crazy was the wind buffeting in my helmet (Sedici Strada II Carbon), the noise when one of the back windows is down. This completely removed any turbulent air under the helmet and buffeting is completely gone. Also gets rid of any drafts into and around the inside of the helmet, if you’re in a colder climate. It takes some getting used to putting the helmet on and taking it off, it’s definitely tighter as it’s sliding on, but the juice is well worth the squeeze (pun intended). Very comfortable when the helmet is on, you barely even feel it.Install on the Sedici Strada II, it just fits right in between the shell and padding, and tucks under the sun visor handle. Didn’t even use the Velcro. There’s a little notch at the very front to let you know where the middle is, give it a pinch if your helmet chin is pointed.

This actually does make an incredible difference!
I won't lie, it's a huge pain to get this installed in a KYT NZ Race. Very very tight fit, but its in. I basically had to shove it in with a butter knife. I completely removed the stock chin curtain as well. However I will say this does an excellent job at blocking out the turbulent wind noise from my helmet! Its of course still a full carbon fiber helmet so you're going to have wind noise no matter what, but man what a difference. Exactly what I needed. Its pretty comfortable, it doesn't chafe my neck or anything. It actually still allows a little bit of airflow at the "V." I'm sure that'll come in handy during the summer months.Functionality wise, it naturally makes it a little harder to get the helmet on/off. Its like being reborn every time you take it off. Not a big deal, if you've ever owned a Ruroc it's a very similar feeling. Just pull your straps outwards while you put it on/take it off.Overall, great value! I seriously wish I had bought this sooner.Time will tell how well it holds up, hopefully it doesn't fall out. Really my only concern. I doubt this thing will tear anytime soon.

Expensive Garbage
I bought and installed this on my helmet. It sort of works, but not really. It is not what I expected for $30. This thing should be priced about $5 or less. I went to my local craft store and made something similar, and it worked waaayy better. It cost me a little under $7, and I have enough of the materials for that cost to make around 10 more. Super simple.I actually feel totally taken advantage of.Considering the price of this thing, I sincerely believe NOJ doesn't want repeat customers. I believe they want a one off, overpriced product, that they can sell out, and make lots of money off of, laughing the whole time because someone just bought an item worth maybe a couple bucks for $30.I'll never buy another NOJ product in my life. I hate expensive garbage. I advise you steer clear of this one.

Took off after a few rides....
Reduces wind noise, but is extremely uncomfortable and chokes you while you have your helmet on.

Works well with the right helmet, Don’t use with a $60-$100 Helmet, just get a new helmet bro!
Fit both myHJC and Fly Racing Conquest helmet, lot of struggle for some people to install, I simply attached all of the Velcro and then fit it in my helmet, I feel like some people are velcroing first and then trying to push the piece between the helmet pad and shell. Check your helmet first if you don’t have a gap and can’t pull or separate the pads at the bottom of your helmet this won’t work! Overall cut down a ton of wind, if you have noise in your helmet already from wind I would suggest upgrading your helmet and save this $30 if your helmet was under $150 unless you got a serious sale deal, don’t buy upgrades that cost 1/2 as much as the thing that’s protecting your head to make it better, it won’t work.

Sizing
Not very friendly on a Simpson street bandit helmet. Cannot get my head in the helmet without a huge fight. Also it doesent look like a clean install due to the non-round shape. I returned this item.

Cuts wind yes, Noise, not as much
I recently purchased a pretty expensive helmet, and was surprised by the amount of wind and noise the helmet generates. I've owned Schuberths, Shoeis and both have a great reputation for being quiet helmets. This new brand (won't mention the name) is just below the price point (not by much), but the wind and noise is significantly worse. I purchased this product hoping it would make a difference, after trying several others that didn't work well. This helmet skirt, makes a huge difference in the amount of wind coming up and around the chin portion of the helmet. Without it, feels like your visor is cracked open, with it installed there is virtually no wind entering the helmet. Works amazingly well for cutting wind turbulence. Because it eliminates so much wind it does decrease the noise a bit, but a noisy helmet is still a noisy helmet. You can still hear lots of wind noise coming from the outside of the helmet, but you don't feel the wind blowing around inside. If you want to eliminate wind blowing inside your helmet, this works great. If cutting out noise is your intent, you may want to try something else. But overall a good product for the price.

I like it.
I have used one of these In the past (15 years or so ago) on an AGV and Arai helmet. Worked very well on those. It cut down noise and bugs coming up from the front, on these 2 helmetsGot a new scorpion helmet and has a lot of noise. Thought this would help but it didn’t.It does make putting helmet on and off a little more difficult. Also covers up the emergency cheek pad removal straps on these newer helmets.I got this mostly to cover up the front so bugs and debris wouldn’t come in. It does make it slightly warmer but it didn’t bother me all that much.
