NOW Foods Supplements, BioCell Collagen® Hydrolyzed Type II, Clinically Validated, 120 Veg Capsules

Have had knee pain and stiffness for over 20 years. Was diagnosed with bad knee caps. Recently have been taking type II collagen. Perhaps too early to tell, but it seems that my knees are better and mobility has improved. This is the best thing I've found so far. Recommend you try this before getting a knee replacement.

The below reviewer is misinformed. This product is hydrolyzed collagen type 2, and he is comparing it to hydrolyzed collagen type 1, with the sports science marine collagen. Type 2 is better for joints and doesn't require as much as type 1 to be effective. Type 1 is better for hair, skin, nails, and connective tissues. "Product is fine but you get such a small amount for the price, imo. According to Copilot the recommend dosage of collagen for cartilage issues is For cartilage repair and joint health, the recommended collagen dosage depends on the type of collagen supplement: 1. Hydrolyzed Collagen (Collagen Peptides) Dose: 5 to 15 grams per day Use: Commonly used for improving joint function, reducing pain, and supporting cartilage regeneration 1. 2. Undenatured Type II Collagen (UC-II) Dose: 10 to 40 milligrams per day Use: Specifically targets joint health and is derived from chicken sternum cartilage 2 A serving size in this bottle is: 2 capsules which is 1 g of BioCell Collagen (1,000 mg Hydrolyzed Chicken Sternal Cartilage Extract, providing 570 mg Hydrolyzed Type II Collagen). We like the quality, size, and how easy they are to swallow with fluids. These capsules are made from chicken sternal cartilage and is said to promote health joint function, comfortable movement, and strong connective tissue while maintaining normal moisture in aging skin. It's still early to assess how effective these capsules are in accomplishing these goals. These capsules do not contain yeast, wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, shellfish, nuts, or sesame ingredients, which should be helpful for those who allergic to these foods. These capsules are rather pricey, so it may be worth finding lower-cost alternatives that perform as well/accomplish the same results.

I've been taking this collagen for a while because I have wear and tear on my knees and also suffer from scoliosis, which causes constant knee pain. Since I started using it, I've noticed a significant improvement: the pain has decreased, my joints feel more flexible, and I can move more comfortably in my daily life. I've also noticed that my skin looks healthier. It's a supplement that has really worked for me, and I plan to continue using it.

I am an insanely skeptical person. Why is this working??? I was a bit desperate, so I gave it a shot with the expectation that it wouldn't work. I got my knee back... Context: I had a tear jumping in track highschool and ever since I've had problems (I could do a pistol squat in my left (non-dominant leg) but not my right (damaged knee). Now I can do it in both side whereas before I would collapse on my right side...even with being dumb enough to just trying to force it. If I were you...I'd give it a shot.

Have been taking Bio Cell for years and it is extremely effective. Originally purchased Bio Cell at Vitamin Shoppe but no longer have a car so I purchase the NOW brand on Amazon for home delivery. It has kept me from seeing chiropractors for years and take away a frozen should in a couple of weeks.
