Quiet and effective but perhaps the PST version is better for some
The Arctic P12 is an excellent fan that delivers on its promises. It's relatively quiet, even under load, and provides reliable cooling performance. At this price point, it's hard to beat the value it offers. I did consider the Thermalright TL series but these come far more reviewed and recommended. One thing to note: if you're planning to use multiple fans in your build, you might want to consider the PST version. It allows you to daisy chain fans to a single header, which can greatly simplify cable management. Since I'm only using one fan in my build, this wasn't an issue for me, but it's something to keep in mind.Overall, if you need a single fan or don't mind a bit of extra cable routing, the Arctic P12 is a solid choice. Highly recommended!

Quiet at max speed via 12v adaptor :)
I used this fan in a laptop cooler stand that I built to try and tame the temps on the pitiful cooling solution of my laptop. I posistioned the fan pointing upwards at the bottom air intake vent (the only vent on the entire laptop!) and wired it up to a 12v adaptor via just the LIVE and GRND wires (fan wire 1 is GRND which has the white hashing FYI). The other two cables for PWM and TACH were just clipped off and taped to insulate. It all went really well. Pre fan, playing Netflix would see the laptop max out at around 80 degrees (I said it was bad!) and with the fan blowing, it topped out around the 60-65 degree mark. Initially I was worried that it would be very noisy but using headphones, I don't hear a thing and without, it's just a very subtle whisper. Inexpensive and a more than capable fan - why buy anything else? That said, the Max versions offer even greater air flow, so if you want something extreme, I'd look into them for only a few pound more.

Unbelievable price, quiet, performs well.
I got three of these to replace some older fans as front intakes, they are supposedly pressure-optimised and so should work well pulling air through a fine mesh dust filter.Pros:1. Exceptionally priced at just over £7 yet seem well built and don't look or feel cheap.2. Work well pulling through the dust filter due to their higher static pressure performance. Would work equally well against a heatsink or radiator.3. Extremely quiet! I actually didn't expect them to be so quiet, even ramped all the way up to their maximum speed they are far quieter than I was expecting. At lower speeds they're hardly audible.4. PWM controlled (4-pin) which works well for controlling their speed.Cons:1. You do get a sort of 'resonance' or some kind of slow pulsating sensation at specific speeds, however as long as you don't set them at those speeds it's a non-issue.2. The maximum speed isn't consistent across all the three fans I bought, one tops out at 1753RPM, the second at 1691RPM and the third at 1739RPM. It's not really an issue but just be aware if you're tuning them with PWM the same PWM % won't result in exactly the same speed for each fan, you might want to tune their profile individually. But for a little over £7 a fan, these are exceptional value compared to anything even twice their price.

A nice PWM pressure fan
As a complete newbie to case upgrades, I bought this to replace an 80mm(!) 3-pin exhaust fan that came with my ancient no-name "airflow" case. A few weeks after installing and it's doing an amazing job, being quiet and varying speeds appropriately to keep my GPU/CPU cool. I'm no hardcore current-AAA-game player, but like my older games to look good at 1920x1080 and do use the PC for video and 3D work, so efficient cooling at moderate loads is a must. The packaging is minimal, but the box is a snug fit so the fan was secure inside it. On opening it, I was surprised by how solid it felt for a budget fan. It's certainly got a reassuring heftiness to it. The design is a slick kind of basic that belies the comparatively low price point. It was an absolute dream to install; not even the slightest stripped screw! It does take quite a bit off force to get the screws in, being the self tapping variety into unthreaded holes, but once they're in, they're in tight. I've had no issue with vibration. The cable wraps around the casing very neatly.I had originally meant this static pressure fan to replace my front intake by the drive cage as I'd guess that's where it'd be more effective, but as my original 3-pin 120mm stock fan was working well enough and my back fan wasn't up to the task, I chose to try it out there first (easier to access should it need tweaking or removing). I kept reading how Arctic fans could be hit and miss when it came to noise and quality, but this one seems great. Perfect for someone who wants a quiet, understated, efficient fan that doesn't cost the earth... and without all those flashy lights/lurid colours so many manufacturers think *everyone* wants! After looking at many dearer rival brands, I'm glad I went with this Arctic one. For the price, it more than lives up to expectations and I would buy this or similar from Arctic again - I'm already eyeballing a PWM F12!

value for money is incredible
Asboloutely silent , i have x6 of these installed & in an mATX case running a fairly power efficient 7950x3d the system idles in utter silence , even when opening games it's very quiet.I'm impressed , would recommend & will order again when I get round to my Intel iTX build.multiple speeds & look the part whether white or black build is for you (I've 3 of each)
