Women's Lightweight Waterproof Fleece Lined Hooded Softshell Rain Jacket, Warm Windbreaker Long Coat

This is the perfect raincoat! First of all it is true to size. I’m one of those people with a size medium top but size large hips. The size medium fit with enough room that I could still zip it all the way up and down. Love the two way front zipper. I typically don’t have enough room in the back of most coats to hunch (put your elbows and hands together in front of you with your back rounded) I need to be able to move. I went all the way up to a size extra large at in a popular brands rain coats and still did not have proper room to move in the shoulders while the rest of me was swimming in the coat. You can actually move in this coat. The design is perfect! Two deep inside pockets (do you know how hard it is to find inside pockets in women’s outerwear?) that are deep enough that your wallet or phone or keys won’t fall out. You might have a little trouble reaching the bottom of the pocket to fish things out, but that, for me is an acceptable trade off. The outside pockets are zippered and slanted, so if you are generous in the hips like I am they are complimentary to your silhouette. They do not add bulk like patch pockets do. This coat is cozy, being fleece lined, but if it is cold out you will want to wear a sweater underneath, it’s not meant for freezing weather. I ordered the green color. What arrived was not quite as bright as what I saw, but a little more sage, a softer dustier color. Colors don’t always translate well on screen. It does a good job at keeping you dry in the rain, which this coat was designed for! I’m thinking of buying another one in a different color. I really like this coat.

Gave this to my neighbor as a gift. She's usually a medium and the size medium fit her perfectly with room for a sweater. She loved that it covered her backside. I loved the safety zipper that when pulled all the way up, isn't rough on your skin. The hood is nicely fitted, and the velcro on the sleeves will help keep out the wind. I got her the blue, which is a very nice color. The style is great - it's very complimentary to your waist. It's not heavy like a winter coat, but it's lining is certainly warm and perfect for a chilly day. Very easy to zip it up, but I can't say whether it's waterproof or water resistant.

Lightweight but warm enough and yes definitely waterproof! You can adjust the waist so it's not bulky and has some shape. I wore a cardigan underneath and was comfortable in 50 degree weather. Plus the hood is convenient for raining. Plenty of pockets!

This is a GREAT jacket. It very much reminds me of a Columbia fleece-lined rain jacket that I got on sale years ago (which I wore out until almost threadbare years ago) and haven't been able to find a similar one since for a good price. While this doesn't have some of the bells and whistles that my old jacket had (thumb holes, more inner pockets, etc) this is REALLY close, and I love that it's a bit longer. The microfleece is good quality. It also has a double zipper that my old jacket didn't have. I usually go between L-XL (larger bust). I went with the XL because I like to layer-- and this had a decent amount of room without feeling oversized. But, I could have probably done one size smaller. I tested this out the same day I got it because it was windy and a bit cold-- I didn't have any layers underneath and it feel nicely warm. I have high hopes for this! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I haven't had the ability to try it in rainy weather. I would be happy to change it to five stars if a rainy day comes along and it works out-- I have full confidence and am not worried about since it feels the same to my old jacket (which often kept me nicely dry) The other reason I gave it one less star is for my only complaint about this jacket is where the outer pockets are placed. This could be a matter of having sized up slightly (not sure though). I feel like they sit a little too low. I'm short and have shorter arms. I like my pockets to be at (more or less) elbow/waist height. These start at around my hips/upper thigh and run almost the length of the bottom half of the jacket. They are big pockets, so I can't complain too much. But, still, I would love to just rest my hands in there while walking around and that's not really possible with this cut. Still, good quality jacket at a decent price.

I absolutely love this jacket by Outdoor Ventures. It is very high quality. It's comfortable and flattering. It works well for both casual and dress wear. It has a great lining. The zippers are high quality. I ordered it so it would be roomy and I could wear a sweater underneath comfortably. By doing this, the size is perfect. I am in the process of losing weight. This coat will still work well because of the adjustable waist. I'm so very happy with this purchase. I feel like I really treated myself to something great.

Pleasantly surprised at the quality of this jacket! Fits well, feels durable and style was exactly what I wanted. I’m 5’4 and bought a medium which came to mid thigh length. The lining is not thick but it allowed me to layer which kept me warm. Definitely a good purchase for the price point!

I bought this for a trip where I was going to be outdoors a lot in rainy spring weather, and this coat was perfect! We got caught in several surprise downpours and I stayed dry, and it did a great job of blocking the wind. When the temperature dropped below freezing, this was warm enough with a sweater under it. It has nice big pockets, and the hood is deep enough to stay up but not so deep it covers your face. I bought an XL and usually wear a 16, and the fit was good with room for a sweater under. I have short arms, and the velcro cuffs kept the sleeve in place.

This is a great jacket. it's light weight, long enough to cover my bottom and it is lined with sweatshirt material. Teh cuffs are velcro so they can be tightened. I ordered a large, It is comfortable enough so that I can move and not feel confined. I love the green color. My only problem with this jacket is that it came with one snap missing. I'm going to keep it and will wear it but sure wish it had not been missing the snap.
