It seems to work well for bringing in the crabs. I thought the water was going to be too cold to catch any, but we actually ended up catching the most we have ever caught so far! And some pretty big ones too! We caught several blue crabs and 2 stone crabs using this sauce on chicken necks and mullet. The smell and dye hold up well on the bait if left to soak in the sauce overnight. I have nothing negative to say about the sauce's functionality. I can't wait to see how it performs this summer when the crabs really start moving! My only complaint is the nozzle on the bottle. Even when closed after each use, it seems to repeatedly get clogged. I quit trying to squirt it out through the nozzle after several times of dealing with the clogs. I just started unscrewing the lid entirely to pour it, which isn't ideal. Other than that, it works great! Also, the birds certainly seem to like it too haha.

Not sure if it is just me. But it didn’t work at all. No one was attract to it. It smells and very very oily. Leave oil residue in the water when using it. Not very leak proof, always worrying about spills all the time.

It helped my group to catch everyone of our limits

I think it should be more of a slow release paste than a liquids dissipates quickly

Really love this product and yes it works!

I noticed that whenever we replaced the bait with more marinade, we trapped the bigger crabs in the first few reels in (we used a simple crab that that closes when we pull it up. It's quite effective in getting the bait. It works best if you follow the instructions (Marinate your bait in it for at least an hour, half an hour is fine if you replace the bait as often as we did) Keep in mind it's very stinky and fishy. I recommend using gloves or tongs so your hands don't have a fishy smell for the whole weekend! Otherwise, using soap detergent, preferably citrus to wash your hands and then rub them with orange peel or something similar.

Seems to repel, rather than attract. Don't waste your money. Cat food or chicken works all by itself.
