Cable knife no. small 4-28 multi

I like this cable stripper very much. I use it on common flex cables, CY cables, YY cables and SY cables. It works very well with going through the insulation. I would recommend doing a test run on a scrap piece or on the end of the cable you are stripping before committing, just to make sure that you have the stripper set correctly not to go through the inner wires insulation, but it's a very useful tool. I find the wire stripper end useful as you don't need to swap and change tools as often as it works just as well as normal wire strippers. I have never tried using it on the outer sheath of armoured cables, but I wouldn't recommend it as I think the blade would break on the armourings if you set it too deep. But overall, I think it's an excellent piece of kit if used properly.

For me it's a great tool,i have managed to strip hundreds of metres of 4 mm 6 mm cable,even 10 mm. Who says it's not good doesn't know to use it. It's still going good after all this use,cables needs to be straight amd the blade doesn't need to touch the copper. Only disappointed because doesn't have replaceble blades jist in case it's snapping,if you treat good lasts a good while

I have tried this thing on all forms of cable and it just does not work. The outer sheath cutter does nothing more than scratch the cable, regardless of how you adjust the blade depth or orientation. The inner conductor strippers are OK on soft insulation but useless on most cables that I have tried.

Very disappointing. I couldn't use it for a 10mm cable. The knife is unstable and changes direction, leaving a shallow and crooked cut.

Blade didn't twist and snapped, ok as ringer then use the knife to expose draw cord. Stripper is useless
