These hood struts from ECCPP are an excellent replacement for the original gas springs on my 2012 Hyundai Sonata. Installation was a breeze, and the quality of the struts seems top-notch. They hold the hood up securely without any sagging, making it much easier to work under the hood. The struts have a smooth operation and don't feel flimsy or cheap. They totally worth the price
They are super easy to install and have a strong construction. My only concern is that I felt they had a little too much pressure, and opening up the trunk was a bit strong. But so far, they have worked just right.
