I prepainted surface next to where I was welding panels together, and after drying for a week, when I did the welding it left three inches of bubbling paint beside the welds, and it turned orange/brown, like it was rust, yet many parts of the metal had no rust before painting. I wire brushed all the bubbled paint to reveal the rusty looking finish. When I asked support for help, they said they had no idea what was happening, no data to show paint that gets heated up,. You would think they would expect people to weld panels together in rusty applications so should run some tests to see why the metal turns rusty looking after heated. It seems to be doing 100% opposite of rust conversion on those heated areas, making them rusty, so it looks.
