Large 1pt Bone China Mug in the Garden design

I've been using it now for a couple of months and still love it. The transfer decorations are precise and durable. Unlike on some I've had in the past the transfers cannot be felt on the surface and the clear covering glaze is like glass. Plus as a gardener I love the designs. The handle is big enough for four fingers of my large hands though three is more comfortable. Having completely straight sides makes cleaning easy, my whole fist fits in. Internal dimensions 92mm deep and 90mm diameter. External dimensions 100mm high and 93mm diameter. This gives a much thinner lip than most mugs of substantial capacity which I much prefer for drinking from. If you hold it to the light the light penetrates it, a fine bone china as claimed on the bottom. The bottom also claims hand decorated hence transfers not hand painted. I may have to buy another in case of accidents.

My Husband likes a large cup of tea and this was great for him plus being fine bone china stays hot .The only dislike was the price as a pensioner I was thinking about getting another one but he said no

This is a big mug. Beautifully finished with a big handle making it easy to hold. It is expensive but it is bone china. Cleaned in the dishwasher and so far so good.

Wanted a decent sized China mug for ages so when I saw this it seemed perfect. Great size …….not a thimbleful like most China mugs. Love the gardening theme as it reminds me of my dad……fab gardener but sadly no longer with us. One very happy customer. Thank you.

I thought I’d like a really large mug so that I’d not be having to continually fill it; this mug however really takes this to an extreme. It’s a whopper and really would only be welcomed by a gardener who doesn’t want to wear his boots out transporting frequent refills!
