KSM Toys Darda Flash Fighter Race Track Set with Formula One Toy Car for Ages 5+

I have two sets now, both are excellent and the track is great. However, the motor in the Porsche has stopped working in less than 3 months, and only a handful of uses. I have contacted Atome City for a replacement motor, their response is bordering on the down right rude. They simply sent two links to online companies that sell the motors separately. This is totally unacceptable. I require a new motor sent out as soon as possible so that the kit I purchased, for not a small amount of money, works. Having read more of the reviews of the cars, it appears that there is a serious quality issue. If the motor is replaced in a timely fashion I shall rewrite this review in a more favourable light. EDITED FOR UPDATE: Amazon stepped in and sorted the motor for the Porsche out for my, although helpful was far more complicated that needed. But, In other news, the motor for another of the cars has now died, and the third in the matching formula one car is on the way out. What has happened to these! I had them as a child and we had motors that ran for 15+ years without issue.

Do not be mislead by the picture of a Darda motor and "NEW Motor" on the box - this does not mean there is an additional motor in the package.

I used to play with Darda as a child so I wanted it for my kids. Unfortunately it’s a different product. Cheap plastic replaces the metal cars. The engine broke on the car after a couple of days whereas the old version is still working 40 years later. The track is poorly made and the assembly instructions are terrible. In short this is a total waste of money. Buy something else or be disappointed.

Kapot na een week. Mechaniek van de motor is extreem zwak waardoor de baan na een week speelplezier onbruikbaar is.

Da kommen Kindheitserinnerungen hoch. Ich hab als kleiner Junge schon mit Darda gespielt, jetzt zieht der Junior nach. In ein paar Jahren kommt dann der Schritt zur Carrera.

Top wir finden die Bahn super wie früher in den 80 ern.

Ich habe die Bahn für meinen 6-jährigen Neffen zum Geburtstag gekauft. Er hat sie am selben Tag noch aufgebaut. Der Aufbau war selbst für einen 6-jährigen kein Problem. Mit seinen Freunden hat er dann mindestens 4 Stunden lang die Autos fahren lassen. Ich muss sagen, ich kann die teilweise negativen Rezensionen nicht nachvollziehen. Auch jetzt nach gut einer Woche - und er lässt die Autos täglich fahren - funktioniert noch alles einwandfrei. Sie lassen sich prima aufziehen. Obwohl sie das eine oder andere mal mit Sicherheit überdreht wurden, machen sie keine Anzeichen, dass ihnen was fehlt. Ich empfehle jedem diese Bahn, denn sie macht nicht nur den Kindern Spaß, sondern man spielt auch gerne als Erwachsener mit und beobachtet die kleinen Flitzer, wie sie ihre Runden drehen. Auch sind die Autos ein paar mal aus dem Looping geknallt, aber auch hier ist nichts kaputt gegangen. Also alles in ALLEM --> ein echt klasse Spielzeug für Kinder (aber auch für manche Erwachsene :) )
