SkyTech 9800337 Smart Batt II/III Fireplace Remote for Heat-N-Glo

Scheduled to be delivered on Monday November 4 - I actually received it on November 2. Awesome. Took time to glance over the instructions, disconnected my old unit, connected the new unit and the remote works flawlessly. Local quotes were between $200 & $300, sure glad I checked Amazon and found The FireGuy. If I need anything for my pellet stove in the future, they will be the first I check with. I guess I will mention I am actually a 73 year old widow, and the directions made it easy for me to get everything up and running in less than 20 minutes.

Easy to install-works great !! I replaced an older style remote. The supplied wiring diagram made installation extremely easy. Once wired, pairing the remote to the valve control took seconds. The remote is fully adjustable for temperature and timing. Using a thermometer I have in the room, it is accurate. The only negative (if you can call it that) is you have to open the remote cover to change temperature and set the timer.

I believe this was sold and returned. It was missing the aaa batteries and the aa batteries wee loose in the box. The remote would not pair to the receiver. After a call to the manufacturer, I was advised to return the product, which I did

Easy and simple to install replacing the original remote and receiver for my Heat N'Glo fireplace. It works great. However, the picture of the product shows only the transmitter (remote) and shows no receiver unless one looks at the detailed product description. Why not display both the transmitter remote and the receiver box in the product display for clarity? A cursory look at the product image suggests that one is only purchasing the Remote and not the receiver unit.
