Perfect fit to my UV-5R and the battery charged up just fine with the standard desktop charger, and is working very well. It is a dandy accessory if you are the type of operator who talks on their radio a lot like I do. I also like the way the radio fits in my hand with the additional grip area the battery pack inherently provides by the necessity of the design.

Due to their large capacity, it takes a little while for them to charger...but once charged they can operate for 2 or 3 days at a time.
