This worked great once I got it assembled. I was frustrated initially because the screw holes for the side slats were too small and causing the screws to strip. I drilled all the holes a bit bigger (9/64 drill bit) and the all went together beautifully. I ran all the apples through my food processor before putting them in the press and was pleased with how clear the juice was after pressing. Planning ti press grapes next week 😊

Don’t buy these unless you have the product they’re designed for they have holes in the bottom and the mesh is very large. Small chunks will go away through.

Did 51 pounds of apples today. Worked great. You just need to turn the press gently, it will get harder and harder to turn until you hit a spot that feels like a nut that's been tightened on a bolt, it just stops. Stop turning and let the press sit awhile to get all the juice out. I needed to make 4 more blocks out of 2x4s to give the handle enough clearance to fully press the apple pulp. I also screwed it down to a 2'x3' piece of plywood. I put it the press in the upper right corner and have the spout outside the plywood and put my bowl on the ground. This way you can sit or kneel on the plywood to hold the press still. It only came with one filter I thought it was coming with two.

Good filter bags. Easy to clean with a hose. Good product!

I am a small home operation making a bit of wine for family from my own grapes. Used these filers for the 1.6 gal press with success. Very durable (wash them well after each use). Only 4 stars as they are a bit expensive!

Bags were too small. Communication with source elicited the information that there was a proper standard size available but only in the USA. As a result I had to absorb the cost of returning them but never did get the filter bags I needed
