Angel Line Convertible Gliding Cradle - Flat Slat

I liked the finished product, but they shipped two of the same end pieces. The end pieces are not the same and should be mirror images of each other for all the holes to line up correctly. Fortunately I am a woodworker and had the tools to modify one of the to fit. I called the manufacturer to try and get some compensation, but after much debate they sent out a new end piece. Didn't really need it at that point. Anyways, once assembled, this is a very nice and well finished cradle.

We order this cradle for our new born, it is great, the size and durability; and we love that we can continue us it as a love seat after, so its functional.

I purchased this item in natural finish and upon unpacking found it was not 100% solid wood. The bottom mattress support is thin particleboard with a wood grain print laminated on. There is also a recessed panel on both sides that are the same particle board with faux wood grain. I wouldn't mind this, given the low price, but the description does say "solid wood construction." There was also a chunk of wood (3" long) of the back top railing that had fallen away and was replaced by wood filler. Not very attractive looking. I'm currently trying to get in touch with the manufacturer in New Jersey to see if they will send a replacement part before I go through the trouble of re-packing and returning. If not for the inaccurate description the cradle seems nice enough for the price and would get 3.5 stars (the mattress it comes with was impressed from the wood pieces and has not yet re-formed so it gets a deduction there too.)
