Bar was well made and very effective in lifting heavy without shoulder, elbow and wrist pain.

I'm 40 and got this bar because my shoulder hurts when I bench with a straight-bar. I was amazed how good it felt and I had no shoulder pain using it. I should have gotten one 10 years ago. I did as much research as I cold on the other brands and spend a bit more but the Body Solid is worth it. The End.

This bar adds some nice variety to pressing in my home gym but it’s not “essential.” I have one shoulder that is end stage arthritis and this bar gives me some new angles to hit the chest hard while easing the load on my shoulder. However, I can’t get as deep of a movement with it compared to a regular barbell so it’s mostly an accent tool rather than a barbell replacement.

This product arrived chipped, dinged, and scratched all over.

Well I haven't loaded too much on it yet, but I put 225 on it and it didnt snap apart and kill me so that worth 5 stars all by itself.

Little pricey but it’s a name brand with solid quality...narrow grip with 225 lbs + and it’s holding up fine.
