Less power consumption more volume
Best pump on the market lil pricey but it will make that up in 3 months because of the less wattage drawUsed on my 6k gal pond with 8 ft head and beautiful

before I put it back in the box I found that the fan blade was sticking through the grill. after working the grill with a hammer I got the pump to work yahooooo!

Worked great...for a FEW months.
This pump was a beast! I used it on my 1,200 gal. pond with 3 koi. Had it coming through a primer/filter combo to the pump to a waterfall 4' away with a 10" rise and with 4200GPH limit this pump worked great. Nice heavy flow waterfall providing plenty of aeration.BUT BUT BUT BUT BUUUUT...AFTER 3 MONTHS the pump stopped flowing and began dribbling. First, it ran a little slower than normal, so I disconnected everything and checked for clogs or airlocks, but everything was clean and clear. Then it slowed down to half the capacity, so I checked again. Still no blockages. Then it became a dribble, so I gave up. I tested it with no rise, just one 90 degrees inlet and a straight outlet, and ONLY A DRIBBLE still! What happened to the motor in just 3 months?!I GIVE IT 2 STARS because I understand that sometimes things fail, it happens...but I paid a lot of money for this pump. I expected good things. I expected at least a few years. BUT WORSE there's no clear information out there on what to do now. Will my warranty cover this? Whom do I contact? Where do I send it? Is there a store nearby who can fix it?! It's 2018, I should be able to Google this information in a blink of the eye, but the specifics seem to be hidden.

Very well made pump
Had to replace one we bought 10 years ago. Warranty is actually 5 years.

Works like it should with plenty of lift.

It has no power
My Sequence 3600 moved more volume and had much more sucking power than this 4200. I could draw my pond down 3' with my 3600, but only 1' with the 4200. I am very disappointed with the purchase. Why does it cost more than the 3600 when it does less??

Super easy to Install
This was a replacement for an older model Sequence pump. It was so easy to remove the old one and install the new one. It's very quiet and the volume of water it pump on the fish pond is so superior to the older model. I love it. I'm glad the old one died.
