Paddywax Candles Celestial Collection Scented Soy Wax Glass Candle, 18-Ounce, Ivory & Twilight

As a Tennessee native, I was excited to find this brand with Tennessee roots based out of Nashville. Support the local economy, right?Round 1: They didn't even attempt to pack it. A glass candle was legitimately thrown into a cardboard box and sent my way. Spoiler alert: It did not end well. It arrived in no fewer than one thousand pieces.Round 2: I filed a claim and Amazon promptly sent a replacement candle. Again, they did not even attempt to pack it, but this time the odds were in my favor and miraculously it arrived in one piece.Verdict: It smells like heaven. I love a local company, but guys.....PACKAGE YOUR PRODUCT. Additionally, the wick is pure garbage. Spoiler alert, a candle will not burn well if the key component to that whole burn thing is at least of average quality. This is not. It's like they cut up shoe-strings from 2001 Air Jordan's and threw them in a candle. Zero burn longevity. Sure, there's wax, but you will never actually get to it.It looks nice, so it will sit on my shelf for a while.... but I can't imagine that I ever even try to burn it again.Final verdict: Look elsewhere

I bought this candle about 6 months ago, at a boutique. I am a candle lover, and have tried every brand of candle out there, and I have to first say, THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST SMELLING CANDLES I have ever found. It also comes in a beautiful reusable jar. But the candle doesn't stay lit. One or more of the wicks, goes out, causing the candle to burn uneven, so you waste half your candle. I originally paid 24.00 for it at my boutique, which is pricey to begin with, so I wasn't expecting to have a problem like this. I thought maybe I got a faulty candle, so I searched for it on the internet, and was so excited when I found it. But guess what? AT 30.00, the same thing happened! I am so disappointed and really think I should request my money back. I have NeVEr had any candle do this, so obviously, it is in the production, or the wicks are no good that they use. I have no idea why they do this, but at 30.00 a candle, it is unacceptable! At 10.00 it would be unacceptable. So I again, have a candle, that is burning unevenly, wasting much of the candle on the side of the jar. SO DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY. This is a terrible purchase, but it is also, the best smelling candle ever. These should be taken off the market until this company can fix this problem. I just read about the problem in numerous reviews, and am actually surprised it is still being sold.

Hard to believe somebody could be stupid enough to put a glass candle in a box without any cushioning

This candle was really disappointing. Firstly, the featured photo is a complete misrepresentation of what the actual product looks like. This was a really expensive candle, and I expected a lot more from this purchase. We all like to treat ourselves sometimes, and this was a luxury gift I was looking forward to buying for myself. The scent is ok, but you can find nicely scented candles practically anywhere else, for 1/3 of the cost. Would not recommend purchasing this candle.

Y’all, this is the BEST scented candle. I can’t even begin to tell you. I found this little beauty in a boutique shop by the beach randomly and didn’t think I would be able to find it again. The container shape is chic and is fab on the shelf. Pleaaaase keep restocking this babe, I will buy it for life. No joke.

I chose this candle specially for the look of the glass from the picture. While it smells great, I was not expecting clear glass. It looks like a honey rose iridescent glass, but arrived just clear. Overall happy with the purchase, but wouldn’t have paid this price for a clear glass candle had I known.

I love this line! I'm a huge paddywax fan and the celestial collection is just as great! This candle is really cute and smells amazing!

I LOVE the smell and container but my candle will NOT burn correctly. It keeps going out. Maybe just a dud?
