I've only tested them for a day or two now...but so far they seem like they'll perform just as well as the Canon OEM battery (assuming that both of the batteries in this kit are consistent with each other...I've only had time to test one of the batteries so far). The price is great for the pair of them and the microfiber cleaning cloth comes in its own pouch, which is a nice bonus. The LCD screen protectors however, are mostly useless. I found them extremely annoying to cut to size and then apply...after fiddling with the application for about 15 minutes trying to get the bubbles out, I just got frustrated and gave up. There were three screen protectors in the kit, so I may give it another shot sometime when I have a little more patience. On a personal side note, I actually got my first "real" camera from ButterflyPhoto about 7 or 8 years ago...it was neat coming across them again here on desertcart. Review: Batteries are Great, but the SX50 is a Power Hog - I've been using these batteries for the past three years, first in my Canon SX40, and now my SX50. They cost about a fifth of the original "Canon" replacement/extra batteries. And they used to last about a third longer than Canon's "own" battery. That said, in the past I could get about three times as many photos out of one of these batteries as I can now. These are going dead after about 225 high resolution photos. That's not really the fault of the battery: the Canon SX50 uses at least twice as much power for the processor, info, and zoom as the SX40. I'm not unhappy with these batteries. It means carrying two extra with me rather than one. The last frontier is batteries! Ask Tesla. Maybe one day, they can make a battery this size with power enough for a thousand pictures.

Don't hold a charge.
Always dead, unless you charge before each use. Also, they only sent me one battery instead of two, as advertised.

At least one of the new batteries doesn't seem to ...
At least one of the new batteries doesn't seem to hold charge well..... I have not tested both thoroughly, however... so I can't say yet if both are faulty or just one. I may try sending to back for a replacement.

Not long lasting
It is now 11 months (about 8 recharges on one and 15 on the other) after I purchased this pair of batteries and one has completely failed and the other only holds a partial charge (about 100 photos). For $10 that was OK but I have purchased others that have performed better.

Great value
I got two batteries and an invaluable cleaning cloth for the lens (it's important to get finger prints off the lens quickly before the oils in your skin damage the surface of the lens. This cloth, moistened with a little 91% rubbing alcohol - not the lower % type, it leaves a film - hold the camera, lens down, and gently wipe the surface with the moist (not dripping) cloth working in a circular motion, and you get a spotless, dust free lens with no streaks or damage to the metal around the edge of the lens). The batteries and cleaning kit (which has other things in the cleaning kit) cost about the same as a single battery elsewhere. Looking at the price the choice to get this kit was a no-brainer. it arrived before the original delivery estimate, and was exactly as advertised.

Good choice for your photo dollar!
These work very well ... working on a second set the last ones lasted 3 years before they would not hold a charge. These are quite a bit less expensive than the Cannon originals and have more capacity.

Great product, great price
No problem charging the batteries in the Canon charger. Works as well as the Canon battery as far as I can tell. Significantly less expensive than the Canon battery. Screen protectors and cleaning cloth useful throw-ins. What's not to like.

I recently purchased a Canon Digital camera that uses special Lithium Ion Batteries that when they have the Canon name on them are around $50.00 each. I was able to purchase a Battery Kit with 2 of the batteries I needed for less than $20.00 with shipping included. What great value and they work fine in my Camera. I have bought a total of 6 of these batteries, because this camera has a 50x optical zoom that will eat batteries if used a lot, so I wanted to have many backup when travelling so I can take many pictures/ I am pleased with the service and the quality of the batteries and will tell all my friends about this class company.

Excellent product. Although it took some time to get delivered as it came from usa. Was a little nervous about the product but it came out really fine

The batteries arrived earlier than promised and both batteries have charged and performed as expected over the two weeks since they arrived. I consider them excellent value.
