Silky Pashmina Scarves Plain Pure Color Shawl

Fabric is soft and so silky - mysteriously it arrives in a package with Chinese characters and with "Silk" written in English. It is well made, whatever the material, but it certainly feels and acts like silk. It is a summer scarf - not thick at all, but I think that is clear from the product information. Normally, models are the size of a 5-7 year old child, ( little taller, but same width) and that is the case here - so the scarf looks huge on them. It is average sized - no skimping on the size but not unusually large in spite of the look of the photos. I bought the dual toned silver/white scarf. I think it will prove to be a favorite, versatile item in my wardrobe. I will need to steam it to get rid of wrinkles from tight packing after being folded for shipping, but under normal circumstances the material is wrinkle resistant. I will use this with a black shirt and trousers for "formal night" on a cruise and it will be sufficient, yet it need not be worn in a formal way at all. Very versatile.

Kept me warm during 30° weather at a wedding. It was my life saver! And it looked elegant with my dress. It didn't take away from anything I had on.

It is a beautiful fabric, but too short for a normal size adult (as opposed to a size 0 model) to wear as a shawl.
