Bought for indoor launch monitor. About 1k balls hit so far. Zero sign of wear n tear. Easily best mat iveever hit off of. Feels as close to hitting off real turf as you'll get. Tee that comes with it works great and is adjustable and I've used real tees most of time. Can't stress enough how good this product is. If you're looking for a mat for your launch monitor, simulator, or to hit balls into a net. Buy this.

Super thick pile, super thick backing. Thick enough to tee up with a regular tee, but you’ll have to use a slightly shorter tee than normal, because you don’t want to poke it through the backing. It arrived packaged well, and after unrolling it and leaving it in the sun for an hour, it relaxed and layed flat. It feels nice and soft, like real turf. It doesn’t leave green residue on the clubs and doesn’t punish your joints when hit fat. Extremely satisfied with it. Wish it was about $200 cheaper but oh well.

UPDATE** So now it’s 2021 and the mat is still in great shape. Worth every penny for practicing. Still have had it outside all summer in 100% sun in northern MN and gets weekly use during the winter. I have an older vacuum I have kept that I’ll clean it with once and a while. I use the Yellow Banded Golf Pride tees for my driver and they seem to have a perfect height for me. I figured I would have to buy one of these every 5 years but no way. This thing still in great shape for the beating I’ve put on it. It will leave some green film on the club after hitting about 100 balls or so but easily scrubs off.Have had this mat for 2 years now and it sits outside ALL summer. Rain, sun, hasn’t faded, hasn’t started coming apart and this mat is heavy as heck. Can tell fat shots easy. The only thing bad about this is it can have a tendency to make you pick your head up and still get a good shot on the ball that will translate to a bad shot on the course. Great to hit balls on during the winter into the net. Wish I had a dang simulator. I use those yellow banded pro golf tees for my driver and it sticks in the mat perfect. No rubber tee and it’s nice to hit fairway and hybrids off of too. Just spin the mat every few hundred balls so you keep it fresh. You get what you pay for with mats we all know and just pay for this and never have to worry again.

I really like this mat. It is solid, thick, club feels good at impact with no pain. It is and does everything It advertised. It is thick and heavy. Full hard swings, it doesn't move on garage concrete, nothing needed to secure it. Of course I'm getting old, my hard swings are nothing compared to younger guys.Why 4.5 stars? Because it is a little bit too big and it's my fault. I don't have room to leave it out and with size and weight, it is a challenge to put away. In retrospect, I should have got the 4 X 5 mat instead. Just narrow enough I can leave in place and park my truck on top of it.I won't return, it is what is. Worst case, I may need to trim it to a better width.Thank you for a very good product. One that meets or exceeds you description and advertising. I will get a lot out of it, I just need to figure out how to make it fit better in space I have.

This is an extremely heavy duty mat. To me it is great. It acts as close to real grass as I have played on. I ordered. The 5x5 which is big enough to hit a driver off of. I also like that you can stick a tee anywhere or use the one provided in the pre-made holes. Love this mat.

I had started using my previous mat a lot more recently, with home range sessions going beyond 13-30 minutes. During that time my wrists and arms became so sore, it would really impact me wanting to practice.Due to the cost, I avoided this. At for a while, but now I’m wish I would have done it earlier. As soon as you step on, the mat feels premium. It’s very thick, and it does actually perform like grass when you hit it fat vs cheaper mats.The biggest win for me is the soreness no longer being an issue, but all around great mat for outdoor ranges.

This mat is unbelievable. I have hit over 6,000 balls off it, very minimal signs of wear. No green marks on my clubs. Hitting a "divot" on this mat feels like your on grass. I don't use the tee holder that came with the mat, the thick nap of the mat holds a wood tee just fine.

The only thing that prevented me from giving a 5 star feedback is one issue. Basically, after each strike down on the ball, the mat slightly shifts backwards. Over many shots the mat can shift several inches from its intended position on the floor (hitting indoors, mat sitting on carpet). A nice option would be to provide a rubber insert tray that is allows the mat to be placed into. This would keep the mat from shifting and stop having to reposition the mat after every dozen shots or so.
