Ordered for a '99 E38 740iL. Fit was excellent, and installation was easy. They function properly and have been working well for some time now. Good buy.

Works great

seems to be good quality and fit perfectly. however after replacing both sides it was way too hard to close the trunk and would pop up violently. i ended up just putting back on one of the old ones and it’s been perfect since. I will keep the extra and just replace that if one blows. I open my trunk multiple times a day and haven’t had any issues. for the price it’s a great item.

Product is just as described and fits my BMW 740IL perfectly. Had an issue with one trunk strut but the seller took care of it and stood behind their product. Could not ask for better customer service. I will surely buy from them again and again.

Strong spring, BUT has much smaller diameter strut shaft and has no damping feature like oem, so your trunk will slam open if you use both. As someone else stated, use just one which is adequate.

Broke from the bottom thread after single use

Bought in September for BMWE38 and in November began leak. not ideal fits.
