Bible Characters from the Old and New Testaments

One of the best books I've ever read. Alexander Whyte is a master writer and is able to bring Bible characters to life. I get so much out of reading these short but practical chapters.

I have found this volume a great addition to my library as a pastor. I find that the chapters feed my soul and challenge my mind. I also find this to be a great resource in preparing biographical sermons on Bible characters.

This is the best brief exposition of Bible characters ever written. Alexander Whyte reveals insights into the lives of Bible characters which merely casual Bible readers will never find. Then he powerfully applies the truths revealed in such a way that the reader is left convicted and seeking God's mercy.
