Malpighi Saporoso Riserva Balsamic "8 Year" - 6.7oz. Bottle

I bought this for a gift and was pleasantly surprised. I did some research prior to my purchase to make a selection on a balsamic vinegar. This balsamic will not disappoint. It was used on a caprese salad, on fresh strawberries & blackberries - so delicious. The pour is smooth and of medium thickness. The taste is superb. I can't wait to try it on ice cream. It was a huge "hit" with the recipient of my gift who is Italian. Buy this for yourself, buy this for your friends, you won't be disappointed and the price point is great!

It's good, (better than what you can buy in a store) I like We Olive brand better - it's sweeter tasting

I have purchased this in the past and really enjoyed it. The last couple times I got it from Amazon it was not nearly as good as it used to be. The reserve seems to taste like the less aged, thinner variant.

In the usual sense Vinegar brings memories of something very different than true Balsamic V. Years ago someone gave me a bottle and said put it on Strawberries. At first I was shocked - it brought out a truly wonderful taste. This is an intense treasured taste.Love it on Strawberries and sugar!!!One can spend $500 for 3 ounces for some of the great ones that are 50 years old.This brand is stunning value for the quality offered.I love the new spout rather than the old cork which would shorten its shelf life.Spend some time reading about Balsamic in general.

I tasted this in Italy and couldn’t wait for it to become available in the US. Both the dark and white versions are delicious. None better in this price range, although not inexpensive, than Malpighi. I’ve purchased many times.

Very thick and smooth, perfectly balanced and terrific taste! Best value for the money. One of my favorites in my collection.

one of the worst tasting balsamic vinegar i ever bought. it’s so thin and runny, and doesn’t have a fruity flavor like other better brands. i felt so disheartened that i poured the whole content into the sink. so not worth keeping it.
