At first when I opened the package, it looked like a calf sleeve but as I put it on I noticed the structure of it and how it fits around the foot to support the ankle. Immediately after putting it on I felt relief from the pain and I noticed wearing it while sleeping was comfortable. There was slightly pressure from the swelling of my ankle but it improved the next day and by then the swelling went down better than the when I wore the uncomfortable ankle brace I purchased from the local drugstore. I do recommend taking it off here and there to let the skin breathe as it can get sweaty and moisture builds up. All in all best investment for if I ever sprain my ankle again the future.

Very good quality and helpful for weak ankles. Ordered a second set so my husband has a clean one to wear every day. Fits well with a regular shoe. This has been very helpful.

The ankle sleeve arrived as advertised. Easy to put on over a light sock or not. Has light to medium compression. Very comfortable.

About a year ago I started experiencing excruciating pain in my right ankle. I suspected it was from years prior when I "rolled" my ankle during a cardio workout. (Thanks Shaun T!) And even though I thought my ankle successfully recovered, years later that same ankle started feeling A LOT of pain. I felt like it was a heavy lead foot that I was dragging behind me like some kind of zombie in a horror flick.I went to the doctor. She told me I had plantar fasciitis. She gave me a print-out of a bunch of stretches and exercises to "fix" the problem but it turned out to be a total waste of time. The pain just got worse and she basically told me to "deal" with it (in not so many words).I found it painful to walk, painful to sit at my desk, painful to sit in bed. I always felt the pain.I started doing yoga which helped stretch it out a bit. But if I overstretched during any yoga pose, I felt like I had to start all over again with "recovery" before I could continue the workouts.I started looking online to find resolutions to this problem, knowing that if I didn't have full working access to my right ankle, I'd be in for a long miserable lifetime ahead.I found this product. Bought it. Had little hope it would help me (but I was desperate to try anything).Low and behold, within a couple of days of religiously wearing it day and night, I STOPPED feeling ALL PAIN in my right ankle. It was as if there was nothing wrong with me AT ALL!Now, I do wear it at night to bed. Sometimes I'll wake up in the middle of the night and feel pain, like it's too tight and cutting off the circulation. So, I take it off then when I get up I put a clean one on again after my shower.Finally, I feel NORMAL and WITHOUT PAIN as long as I wear a brace every day (and through most nights, as long as it feels comfortable).I may have to wear these everyday for the rest of my life but...who cares?! The pain is gone (as long as I am consistently wearing them each and every day, all day long) and it's like I never had plantar fasciitis in my right ankle at all.This was truly a GAME CHANGER for me. I thought I was going to have to suffer forever. Now I don't!Highly recommended to ANYONE with painful plantar fasciitis.I have size MEDIUM and my shoe size is ladies 9 or sometimes 9.5 depending on the shoe. Size small is too small and large is too big. Hope that helps someone with the sizing.

They did help with the ankle swelling but only a little but then caused end of foot to swell badly. The sock tended to bunch just a bit at the ankle. As my ankle swelled the O emblem left an indention in leg and making my leg itchy there as well as where it bunched up at the ankle. It did offer rather good ankle support. I bought these as my doctor is looking at the possibility of me having venous insufficiency but left ankle needed support from old injury. These did not come up high enough for the swelling. Because the toes were opened, which I liked for flops, the blood pooled and swelled the end of the foot. If you buy these for ankle support they may work, as for swelling, no. Comfort a 3.5-4 star, swelling 2 star, range of motion 5 star, look with my sandal that the strap was just at the end of sock (nude) 3.5 star (mind you no sock will look good but these were about the best as less obivious but did bunch a little at the ankle which was noticeable). These are a thicker sock and compress enough that it may be difficult for someone with hand issues, but I believe the thickness helped the support. For swelling a 1 star, for support 4.5 stars. If I only wanted for support for a few hours it might be worth it. For swelling, look elsewhere and probably resign to a full sock.

I ordered the wrong size. Go with a size down. Their customer service is excellent. Very responsive. They sent the correct size without any charge. I ordered so many of these for my ankle and none worked. When you wear your shoe it does not hurt or move or slide. It is solid material. Washed it in the washing machine many times now, it is still intact. I wear to the gym too.It is a good product if you had a sprained ankle or ankle problems .

Excellent workmanship; this soft brace was better than the one I purchased from my doctor.

For its purpose as an ankle compression sleeve, it works well and is comfortable - this is a pretty thick ankle sleeve. The only thing that could be improved is that the edge of the sleeve on the feet is quite raised from the way they hemmed the edge, so if you are wearing shoes, it may cause some additional tightness and rubbing against the top of the shoe.

My daughter used for an injury in gymnast and it was great!
