I like this cover overall. It does add a lot of bulk to the original key fob, but as I carry a purse it's not a big deal. If I kept it in my pocket, though, it would be too much.The main reason for writing this review is to explain how to remove the cover so you can replace the fob battery. Take it off the ring and look inside the slot where you attached the ring, on the side against the fob. You'll see what looks like a little slot with tab. Slip a flathead screwdriver in the slot and twist slightly to press in on the tab. (You might have to try from both sides.) It'll pop open on that end and then you can use the screwdriver or a key to pry it all the way open.Hope this helps someone!

Maybe this company shouldn’t put the incorrect keys that are compatible for this cover. It’s cheap quality and doesn’t snap on the key correctly. I want my money back. It fits loosely on the key. Don’t get this cover

Looks amazing!Easy to put together, quality is really good, definitely will protect your key from a fall, overall really practical design, does not interfere with the buttons, the case is plug/play and functions well!

I don’t know why I didn’t search for these before I paid several hundred dollars for new key fobs and programming. So when those replacements eventually were dropped and broke, I looked for a less expensive solution. They key fobs still worked, but when they hit the street the plastic tabs and held their halves together broke and they wouldn’t stay closed any more (the same thing that happened to the original fobs we received with the Ford Edge.This I expensive solutions snaps over the top of the key fob, holds it together, and gives you access to all the buttons. There is also small cutout that lets you see the Ford logo. It is well designed and is tough. I’ve dropped it in a parking lot and it held up perfectly with no scrapes or damage after hitting the pavement. I will not need to buy expensive new key fobs due to an accident again!
