Amazing modelling paste
I purchased black modelling paste to make a speedometer cake topper and to make squares on the checkered cake pictured. I used modelling paste so the squares would hold their shape better than fondant.OH my goodness this is lovely stuff, hard to get going as it’s really firm but once soft it models like a dream. No cracking and it sets hard quickly. I bought other colours to model figures for cake decorating and will not use another brand again. This stuff is amazing!!

I found the paste very easy to work with, I am able to smooth out any mistakes I make without too much problem. It drys firm but also gives you plenty of time to work with. I have just bought some more as I was very impressed.

Rock solid
Awful item, unusable. To hard and crystallised. If you do use this you can microwave to soften but you have to be fast as it goes hard again. Also cracks and has dried bits

Like all modelling pastes, tastes sweet but texture in mouth is gluey, but not many people actually eat the flowers etc on a cake. Need to condition well before modelling to soften, and dries fairly quickly so need work fast on the piece being made and keep rest sealed from air.

I always use saracino but sadly this was not the same. Absolutely rock hard, which is normal, but no amount of warming or working made much difference not as pliable as usual. It did have a lovely smell and flavour.
